Volkswagen has announced the starting prices for its 2025 ID.4 models, with production continuing at its Chattanooga plant. Right now, the focus is on the 82 kWh versions, while models with a 62 kWh battery will come later.

The company says all versions will get more features starting midyear, but full details and pricing for those updates will be shared later.

The trim levels remain mostly the same as last year. The Entry and S trims are available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, but the top-tier S Plus is only for all-wheel-drive models.

The Entry trim starts at $45,095 for the rear-wheel-drive Pro and $48,995 for the AWD Pro. The RWD version rolls on 19-inch wheels, while the AWD model gets 20-inch wheels.

Standard features include a gloss black grille, LED lights, rain-sensing automatic headlights, and black roof rails. AWD buyers also get a heated windshield and a tow hitch.

Inside, there’s a 12.9-inch infotainment screen with navigation, wireless smartphone connectivity, a 45W USB-C charging port, and voice control. A 5.3-inch digital display serves as the driver’s gauge cluster.

The cabin includes cloth and leatherette seats, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a stitched dashboard, and a variable cargo floor. Driver assistance comes standard with IQ.DRIVE, parking assist, dynamic road sign display, and high-beam control.

The S trim adds extra features for those willing to pay more. The RWD Pro S starts at $50,195, while the AWD Pro S is $54,095. Both come with 20-inch wheels, an illuminated VW logo, LED projector headlights with adaptive lighting, and improved side mirrors.

Inside, the cabin is upgraded with 30-color ambient lighting, perforated leatherette seats, a heated steering wheel, 12-way power seats with memory, and ventilated front seats.

The rear seats include a pass-through for extra cargo flexibility, while a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade and a hands-free power tailgate add more convenience.

For those who want the best features, the S Plus is available only with all-wheel drive at $57,295. This model upgrades to 21-inch wheels, a black roof with silver accents, power-folding mirrors, and additional silver details on the bumpers.

Inside, buyers get heated rear seats, three-zone climate control, and a Harman Kardon sound system with 14 speakers, including a subwoofer. The S Plus also comes with an overhead view camera system for better visibility while parking.

Volkswagen promises more updates later in the year, but for now, buyers will have to decide if these prices and features make the 2025 ID.4 worth it.
