The Dodge Charger Daytona is now the fastest and most powerful muscle car in the world. But it’s got even more going for it, being the only all-wheel-drive muscle car in the market.

This new Charger lineup includes the 670-horsepower Charger Daytona Scat Pack and the 496-horsepower Charger Daytona R/T, both tested in tough winter conditions, including Michigan’s cold Upper Peninsula. These models prove the Charger can mix muscle car performance with all-weather capability.

As expected, all Charger Daytona models arriving in 2025, whether two-door or four-door, will come with standard all-wheel drive. Plus, even the upcoming gas-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK models will include this feature when they hit the market later in the year.

Dodge CEO Matt McAlear highlights that the new Charger is the only muscle car with this setup, which makes it a game-changer, especially for drivers in colder climates. He promises that no matter which version you go for, the Charger Daytona will perform well on streets, drag strips, racetracks, and in harsh weather, including snow and ice.

Some special features make the Charger Daytona a great fit for winter driving. Wet/Snow Mode, standard on all models, adjusts traction and stability settings to provide maximum control. It uses a mix of technologies, including traction control and regenerative braking.

Additionally, the mechanical limited slip differential on the rear axle ensures that both rear wheels get power, even in slippery conditions, so you don’t lose traction. And when you’re in the mood for some fun, the Drift/Donut Mode lets you switch to rear-wheel drive, turn off stability control, and even control traction, so you can enjoy drifting or donuts on any surface.
