The Announced Lenovo Legion Tab Might Become a Proper Gaming Tablet We’ve Been Looking For
Lenovo has just unveiled the Legion Tab, a small but powerful tablet built for gaming, Android Central reports. It features an 8.8-inch screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR10, offering an excellent viewing experience.
Although it uses an IPS panel instead of OLED, the visuals are still expected to impress.
This tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and can be equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A downside is the lack of a microSD card slot, which could be limiting for users needing extra space for gaming and media.
The Legion Tab is designed to handle the heat from extended gaming sessions with its Legion Coldfront Vapor Chamber cooling system, preventing thermal throttling. It also comes with an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. The tablet runs on Android 15 and has a 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

With Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, connectivity should be solid. Its metal body and 350-gram weight make it thin and lightweight, making it more portable than some larger tablets like the RedMagic Nova.
Priced at $499, the Legion Tab stands out as a top contender in the gaming tablet market.
