Škoda Auto Begins Production of the new Enyaq

Škoda Auto has started production of the new Enyaq, the latest model in its electric vehicle lineup, at its Mladá Boleslav plant. This marks a big step for the company, as the Enyaq is the second model to feature the brand’s new Modern Solid design, following the Elroq.
The updated Enyaq offers better aerodynamics, sustainable interior materials, and new tech features, all aimed at improving the driving experience and extending its range.
The plant in Mladá Boleslav can now produce both traditional and electric cars on the same line, thanks to advanced production processes.
This flexibility allows Škoda to quickly adjust to customer demand for either electric or conventional models. The new Enyaq is part of this approach, alongside the Elroq, and is made alongside the Škoda Octavia.
The plant also manufactures batteries for these electric vehicles, and these batteries are used in models from other brands in the Volkswagen Group.
The new Enyaq comes in two battery sizes, with three available powertrain options. It offers outputs ranging from 150 kW to 210 kW, depending on the model. There are versions with rear-wheel drive and an all-wheel-drive version, which features a second motor at the front.
Thanks to aerodynamic updates like new wheels and sealed gaps in the grille, the Enyaq achieves a drag coefficient as low as 0.225. This improves its range, with the Enyaq Coupé offering up to 590 kilometers, while the regular Enyaq reaches 580 kilometers on a full charge.
Inside, the Enyaq provides a comfortable ride with lots of tech, including features like Remote Park Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, and a heated steering wheel. Customers can also choose from a variety of sustainable and durable interior materials to personalize their vehicles.
