Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has been making waves even before its official unveiling. Early rumors suggested that the company was working on a thinner version of the Galaxy S25, and now, more details are coming to light. According to a leak, we now know the phone’s size and battery details.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be super slim, measuring just 5.84mm thick. That’s thinner than expected, especially compared to the regular Galaxy S25, which is around 7.2mm thick. The Edge variant will be a bit larger overall, with dimensions of 158.2 x 75.5mm. This aligns with previous hints that the phone might have a 6.7-inch display.
While the Galaxy S25 Edge’s thinness is exciting, it comes with a smaller battery—3,900mAh, which is the same as the Galaxy S23. This is slightly less than the regular S25, which has a 4,000mAh battery. This could be due to the phone’s thinner design. It’s also rumored that a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip could help make up for the battery drop.
At this point, though, not everything we’ve heard about the Galaxy S25 Edge is guaranteed. There were earlier reports suggesting different specs, including a thicker device and additional camera sensors, but those seem to have been incorrect. Samsung has apparently been testing several prototypes, and the final product might differ from early leaks.
We’ll likely get more details closer to the phone’s April 2025 release, but for now, it’s clear that the Galaxy S25 Edge is shaping up to be a thinner, sleeker alternative to the regular S25.
