The Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been revealed by Nintendo, along with a new Mario Kart game. However, key details like the release date and price were missing from the announcement. Now, there are some leaks about the possible price, thanks to listings from Best Buy and a Dutch retailer called Coolblue.

Best Buy’s listing suggests that the Nintendo Switch 2 will cost around $350, the same as the current OLED Nintendo Switch. This price matches what we saw when the OLED version was launched, and it makes some sense.

New consoles are often priced to encourage more buyers, even if it means taking a loss at first. The real profits for companies like Nintendo usually come from game sales and subscriptions, not the consoles themselves.

Meanwhile, Coolblue has a different idea. Their listing shows a much higher price of $500. Some reports even back this up, suggesting the console could cost $450 to $500, especially if bundled with a game like Mario Kart. While $500 might seem high, the handheld feature of the Switch 2 could explain the price jump.

At this point, it’s unclear whether these retailers have insider information or if they’re just guessing. Nintendo, Best Buy, and Coolblue haven’t commented on these prices yet.

We’ll have to wait and see if these leaks turn out to be accurate. For now, we can only speculate and keep an eye on any updates from Nintendo.
