Render Unveils iPhone 17 Pro’s Bold New Camera Design in Silver and Space Black

A recently shared render offers a peek at what could be the new look for the iPhone 17 Pro. This visualization suggests a significant shift from the traditional square camera to a full-width module, though it still maintains a triangular lens setup.
The artist behind this concept, Asher Dipprey, has showcased the design exclusively to his Patreon followers.
According to various reports, the latest designs suggest moving away from the classic left-sided camera square.
Instead, the proposed layout spans nearly the entire width of the phone’s back, breaking with past design conventions.
Although the render by Dipprey is sleek, it shows an asymmetrical camera bump with a noticeable gap on one side.
This new look has sparked mixed reactions. While some appreciate the fresh approach, others find it less appealing. The render’s basis appears to come from a disputed CAD image leaked last month.
Leaker Majin Bu, who has a mixed track record, commented last month that the CAD image might be a fabrication. Despite this, he believes it captures the essence of what’s being tested in real design labs.
Adding to his creative portfolio, Dipprey is also known for developing Radiance, an app that allows users to craft their own wallpapers.
As for the phone’s design, he describes it as just “bearable,” hinting at the polarizing nature of the new aesthetic.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on this design shake-up for the iPhone 17 Pro. Does the new camera layout catch your eye, or does it miss the mark? Drop your opinions in the comments!
