PlayStation Will Now Let You Test Updates Before They Are Officially Revealed

Sony is launching a new PlayStation beta program to make it easier for gamers to sign up for upcoming beta tests. This new initiative, called the ‘Beta Program at PlayStation’, aims to give players a smoother experience by allowing them to express interest in testing a variety of PlayStation features.
Once you sign up, you’ll be able to take part in beta tests for games on both PS5 and PC, new PS5 features, updates to the PlayStation App, and even changes to the PlayStation website.
The good news is that you only have to sign up once, unlike previous betas where players had to sign up individually for each test and get special codes.
The program is open now, but as of writing, the signup page isn’t available for everyone. If the page isn’t working for you, Sony suggests checking back later. Just keep in mind that signing up doesn’t guarantee you’ll be chosen for any beta tests, as selection is still random.
Once the page is working for you, it’s simple to get started. But until then, it’s just a matter of waiting. Hopefully, this new program makes it easier for all of us to participate in future betas without all the hassle of separate signups and codes.
