Samsung appears to be working on a new affordable handset that will serve as the successor to the Galaxy A06 5G. Fresh reports indicate that this device is likely the Galaxy A07 5G, and its core specifications have just surfaced online.
The smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench GPU Compute Benchmark, listed with the model number SM-A076B. This discovery was initially brought to light by a tech leaker, giving us our first look at what powers the upcoming device.
According to the benchmark data, the phone achieved an OpenCL score of 1,361 points. This performance gives us a rough idea of the graphical capabilities users can expect from this entry-level model.
The listing further reveals the processor configuration, which features an octa-core CPU setup. It includes six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0 GHz for standard tasks and two performance cores running at 2.4 GHz for more demanding applications.
