As you know, Netflix is a streaming giant and the service is actually the biggest and largest streaming service on the market. And while the competition is rising, Netflix is still the biggest name on the list in that aspect.

The company is, of course, constantly expanding its user experience with both new content, and new features. Among them is the gaming division, which is also an important part of Netflix’s library.

Now, after many years, Netflix has decided to revamp its layout and user interface, adding some new features and providing users with a better experience overall. Gamers will be especially happy with this addition!

As revealed by the company, the new revamp will have four main changes that should make browsing easier and add a better layout experience for users:

  • Simpler navigation: The new layout’s shortcuts to Search, Shows, Movies, Games, and My Netflix will always be located at the top of your screen and will always be visible.
  • Responsive recommendations: The recommendations feature will be getting a revamp, as the new layout will allow you to “fresh rows of recommendations served up in real time. Your homepage will respond to your viewing and browsing history, so you can quickly find something that suits your mood in the moment.”
  • Your own My Netflix hub: The My Netflix hub will let you control and manage your favorite content in one playe. It will have Continue Watching, My List, and Remind Me features.
  • Detailed information about each title: The new interface will provide more information about the titles and will allow you to “discover what makes each title worth the watch before you commit to pressing play. Preview a title’s synopsis, runtime, award wins, Top 10 history, or key cast all up-front while you browse.”

The update is going to start rolling out on May 19, 2025 and will be available for most users and TVs immediately upon launch, but some won’t be supported immediately and will be updated at a later date.

The big thing here is that the Games tab will not be present as well, so dedicated players of Netflix’s games will have an easier time accessing that section of the service.
