‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance II’ Confirmed for Steam Deck Release in February
A major new release is coming, and this time, it’s launching fully ready for the Steam Deck. Many games add Steam Deck support only after launch, but this one is different. It’s getting Verified status before release, meaning it has been tested and approved by Valve.
There are several big games dropping soon, including Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Avowed, Civilization VII, Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, and Monster Hunter Wilds. But before any of them, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 arrives on February 4—and it’s the one already guaranteed to run smoothly on the Steam Deck.
This is the sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the medieval RPG from Warhorse Studios that originally launched in 2018.
The new game takes place in 15th-century Bohemia, following Henry of Skalitz as he fights through war, betrayal, and revenge. Players will explore a huge open world, from cities to forests, in a story packed with action and adventure.
With strong early impressions and plenty of excitement building, this could be one of the biggest RPGs of the year. The fact that it’s Steam Deck-ready at launch makes it even better.
