Honor launches its latest flagship, the Magic 7 Pro, right after OnePlus introduced its 13 series.

Priced at £1,099.99, the Magic 7 Pro matches last year’s flagship cost and brings a suite of impressive specs and unique software tools to the table.

At the heart of the Magic 7 Pro lies the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, backed by a hefty 5,270mAh silicon-carbon battery and a 6.8-inch display designed to be easy on the eyes.

These features put it on par with the best Android devices currently on the market, including the OnePlus 13.

What sets the Magic 7 Pro apart are its exclusive software capabilities. The phone introduces an innovative Deepfake Detection tool, enhancing security during video calls by identifying any facial manipulation.

This feature, alongside AI-driven functionalities like AI Translation, Real-time Transcript, and Magic Portal 2.0, positions the Magic 7 Pro as a leader in human-centric technology.

The camera system is equally impressive, featuring a trio of lenses: a 50MP wide, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.

Each lens is enhanced by Honor’s AI Image Engine, which adds a range of AI-assisted photography tricks to improve image quality.

Among the new camera features are AI Motion Sensing Capture and HD Super Burst, designed to capture high-speed actions with stunning clarity.

AI Super Zoom is another standout feature, specifically engineered to bring out the finest details in landscape shots at 30x zoom or higher.

In terms of durability, the Magic 7 Pro doesn’t disappoint with its IP68 water resistance and IP69 temperature resistance.

It comes pre-installed with the Google Gemini app and is available in two colors: Lunar Shadow Grey and Black.

Launching alongside the Magic 7 Pro is the more affordable Honor Magic 7 Lite, available in the UK for £399.99.
