There’s not much time left until the highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s Squid Game arrives. If you’re finding the wait tough, Google has something fun to keep you entertained in the meantime.

Netflix and Google have teamed up to bring a browser-based version of the memorable Red Light, Green Light game from the first season. To try it out, just search “Squid Game” on Google. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see an invitation letter pop up—click on it to begin.

Once the game starts, your entire screen transforms into a scene from the show. The infamous animatronic doll, Young-hee, stands with two guards, keeping an eye on six contestants. You’ll need sound for this game because when Young-hee turns away and starts singing, you press the blue “O” to move the contestants forward.

The challenge is to stop them in time by pressing the red “X” when the doll stops singing and turns around. Fail to stop in time, and you’ll lose one of your players. But if at least one makes it to the finish line, you’ll be rewarded with the show’s signature piggy bank and a burst of confetti.

The game works on both mobile and desktop, so you can enjoy it wherever you are.

As for Squid Game season 2, it officially premieres on December 26, 2024. This season picks up three years after the original, with Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) determined to end the deadly games once and for all.
