Alef Aeronautics showcased its Alef Model Zero prototype, a flying car that has caught the attention of the world through a viral video.

The vehicle, which can navigate roads as comfortably as any traditional car, also boasts the ability to take to the skies, flying over congested traffic with ease.

The highlight of the Alef Model Zero is its innovative design that includes propellers integrated into its bonnet and boot, covered by a protective mesh.

This feature allows the car to lift off the ground and hover, making it look like something straight out of a science fiction movie.

During the test, the vehicle was driven and flown in a city setting, marking a significant milestone for Alef Aeronautics.

The company’s CEO, Jim Dukhovny, drew parallels between this achievement and the Wright Brothers’ first flight, highlighting the transformative potential of the flying car.

While many on social media marveled at the technology, envisioning childhood dreams of flying cars, others questioned the practicality of such a vehicle, from the energy needed for flight to the complexities of parking a car that can also fly.

Looking to the future, Alef has ambitious plans for the Alef Model A, a two-seater with a 110-mile air range and a 200-mile road range, already boasting 3,300 pre-orders.

Further down the line, the four-seater Alef Model Z is expected by 2035, promising even greater ranges both in the air and on the road.
