505 Games has announced that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is getting three new story expansions over the next few months. Each one will cost $8 and will add fresh adventures to the game.
Eiyuden Chronicle was created as a spiritual successor to Suikoden by ex-Konami developers at Rabbit & Bear. Even after its creator’s passing last year, a sequel is still in the works. While Hundred Heroes is a turn-based RPG, its prequel, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, is a side-scrolling action RPG.
The first expansion, The Chapter of Marisa, is coming out on February 27. Marisa meets an enchanted girl who ends up joining her. The two set off on a journey to uncover the truth about the ‘Child of the Rune.’
Next up is The Chapter of Seign, launching on March 13. Seign leaves Nowa’s group and heads into the Galdean Empire. His goal? A top-secret mission to uncover what’s really happening behind the scenes.
The final expansion, The Chapter of Markus, drops on April 3. Markus, Carrie, and Nowa stumble upon a strange portal known as Menhir’s Distortion. Stepping inside, they enter another world and begin uncovering secrets from Markus’s past.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox. It’s also playable through Xbox Game Pass.
