Bandai Namco Entertainment recently announced the upcoming ‘DAIMA – Adventure Through The Demon Realm Part 1’ DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. This DLC, which is based on the new Dragon Ball Daima anime series, is set to launch this summer. The second part of the DLC will be released at a later, yet-to-be-determined date.

Players who buy the DLC will get access to both parts when they release, along with some exclusive bonus items. One of the rewards includes Goku (Mini), who will wield the Power Pole. The DLC will also feature characters like Glorio, Shin, and Panzy.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launched in January 2020 and is available on platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It even got a port for the Nintendo Switch in September 2021 and for Google Stadia in October 2021. The game is known for its story and gameplay that follows the sagas from the Dragon Ball Z anime.

Season Pass 2 has already included several DLCs, like the ‘Bardock – Alone Against Fate’ story and the ‘Goku’s Next Journey’ DLC, which released in February 2024. The first DLC for the game, ‘New Power Awakens – Part 1’, debuted in April 2020 and added characters like Beerus and Whis. Later, a second part followed, featuring SSGSS Goku and Vegeta as well as Golden Frieza.

Meanwhile, the Dragon Ball Daima anime, which debuted on October 11, is being streamed by Crunchyroll and Netflix worldwide. The anime airs on Fuji TV every Friday at 11:40 p.m. in Japan. Fans can watch it with subtitles in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Brazil, and more. The show concludes with its 20th episode this Friday.
