Before you can use Apple Pay as your preferred payment method at Stop and Shop, you need to have set up your Apple wallet. If you have already, you can proceed to make your payment via Apple Pay but if you haven’t, the following are the steps to set up your Apple wallet.

How To Set Up Your Apple Wallet On Your iPhone Or iPad

Step 1: Open Your iPhone Or iPad Settings And Open “Wallet & Apple Pay”

Go to your device’s settings and open “Wallet & Apple Pay”

Step 2: Add Your Card And Input Your Card Details

To add your card, tap on “Add Card” and go on to click “Continue”. You’ll be required to select your payment type. After selecting the payment type, proceed to add your credit card or debit card details by scanning the card to automatically enter its details or entering the details manually.

Step 3: Accept Apple’s Terms And Verify Your Card

To finalize setting up your wallet, you need to agree and accept Apple’s terms and conditions and then proceed to verify your card by completing all other required verification steps.

Step 4: Complete The Setup

After verifying your card, you can now proceed to use Apple Pay at Stop and Shop. 

How To Set Up Apple Wallet On Your Apple Watch

To set up your Apple Wallet on your Apple Watch, you’ll need your linked iPhone. Once you have it, proceed with the following steps:

Step 1: Open The “Apple Watch” App

Launch the Apple Watch app on your linked iPhone. 

Step 2: Open “Wallet & Apple Pay”

Navigate to “Wallet & Apple Pay”, click on it to add your card, and set up your Apple Wallet

Step 3: Add Your Card

Tap on “Add Card” and follow the on-screen instructions to add your preferred credit card or debit card to your Apple wallet. Once this is set, you can use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch

How To Use Apple Pay At Stop and Shop Physical Stores Via Your iPhone Or iPad:

Step 1: Select Your Mode Of Payment And Open Your Wallet

Head to the check-out counter and inform the attendant that you’ll like to use Apple Pay. Then you can go on to launch your Apple Wallet on your iPhone or iPad. 

Step 2: Select Your Card

You can either choose to use your default card or use a different card. If you want to use a different card, tap on the default card and choose a different card in your wallet. 

Step 3: Validate Your Identity To Use The Card

To use the Face ID scanner, double-click on the power button on the right side of your phone. This will activate the Face ID scanner and if it isn’t available, enter your Apple ID password.

To scan your Touch ID, place your finger on your home button. If the Touch ID isn’t available, enter your Apple ID password.

Step 4: Perform The Contactless Transaction 

Place your phone near the contactless reader to automatically scan your payment. Once it’s done, you’ll see the “Done” message on your screen followed by a checkmark.
