Apple’s next budget-friendly iPhone is almost here, and it might be arriving sooner than expected. While Apple hasn’t announced an event, insider Mark Gurman suggests we could see it as early as February 12 or 13, with February 18 as the latest possible date. Instead of a big presentation, Apple is likely to drop a press release and a video on its YouTube channel.
Thanks to case maker Spigen, we now have a fresh look at the iPhone SE 4, and it confirms a lot of previous leaks. Spigen uploaded images of its case featuring a phone inside, mistakenly labeling it as an older SE model. But the design tells a different story.
The iPhone SE 4 looks a lot like the iPhone 14, with a notch at the top and a single camera on the back. One unexpected change stands out—the classic Alert Slider is gone, replaced by what appears to be an Action Button instead. The leaked images also back up earlier claims that this model will have a 6.1-inch display, making it noticeably bigger than previous SE versions.
While Apple hasn’t shared pricing details yet, reports suggest it will be more expensive than the last SE model. Instead of $429, the price could land closer to $499. If true, this means the SE 4 won’t be as cheap as before, but it might offer much more power for the price.
With the launch just days away, we won’t have to wait long to see if all these leaks hold up. Keep an eye on Apple’s official channels and Digital Trends for the final word.
