Xpeng has officially entered the UK market, marking a major step in its global expansion plans. The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker unveiled its line-up for the region and launched pre-orders for its first model there: the right-hand drive version of the Xpeng G6.
This move follows the company’s strategy to expand across Europe after its initial entry into Norway in 2021.
The G6 is a key part of Xpeng’s offering in the UK, a mid-size electric coupe SUV priced from £39,990 ($49,762 / €47,951). The car features 800-volt supercharging and promises an extended driving range.
Xpeng aims to bring more AI-driven features to UK drivers, focusing on safety, convenience, and personalization for a smarter driving experience. Deliveries for the G6 are set to begin in March 2025.
In addition to the G6, Xpeng also showcased other models, including the P7+, G9, X9, and even a flying car, the eVTOL X2, from its Xpeng AEROHT subsidiary.
The company has already established its presence in several European countries, including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and more. With its official UK entry, Xpeng plans to expand further across the continent in the coming years.
