Tesla Model Y Transforms into Ferrari or Rolls-Royce with EVision’s New LED Display
EVision Auto showcased a groundbreaking innovation for the Tesla Model Y. They introduced a front-end display unit that fits perfectly onto the Model Y’s front bumper.
This unit features a high-resolution LED panel that car owners can personalize using a smartphone app available for Android and iOS.
The display allows Tesla owners to transform the front-end appearance of their cars into various iconic designs.
These include representations that evoke luxury brands such as Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, and even Ferrari’s famous logo.
The technology goes as far as to allow for playful customizations like displaying a grinning Elon Musk.
However, there are concerns about the practical aspects of such a flashy addition. Questions about the legality of driving with such a modified front display are rising, as well as potential copyright challenges.
Furthermore, the placement of the LED display raises durability issues since it is situated in a vulnerable part of the car.
Despite these concerns, EVision Auto is moving forward with their innovation. They have priced the customizable grille between $2,500 and $3,000, which includes an installation process that takes about two hours.
The company also has plans to extend this technology to other electric vehicle brands in the future.

The use of exterior displays is not entirely new, as other automakers are also exploring similar technologies.
For example, Continental has introduced a Window Projection Solution, and Chinese automaker Baojun offers a digital display that can feature watch faces or emojis at the rear of their vehicles.
While the idea of having a digital canvas on our cars may divide opinions, it is clear that the future of automotive customization is headed towards more interactive and personalizable features.
Whether for style or fun, cars are starting to communicate with the world in a whole new way.
