Power Rangers Invade ARK: Survival Ascended

In June 2024, a unique collaboration introduced the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers into the world of ARK: Survival Ascended. This partnership allowed players to take on the roles of the original five Rangers, each with their own Zord.

Fast forward to February 2025, and the collaboration has expanded. The latest update brings six new character skins: Green Ranger, White Ranger, Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, Goldar, and Alpha 5. Each comes with unique emotes, adding more flair to the gameplay. On top of that, four Zord creature skins have been introduced: White Tigerzord (Thylacoleo), Titanus (Bronto), Green Dragonzord (Giga), and Megazord (MEK). Players also get six new weapons, including the Green Dagger, White Saba Sword, and Zedd Staff.

The CEO of Overwolf expressed excitement about how well this user-generated content (UGC) project has done. Thousands of mods have been downloaded, and the revenue from them shows that UGC-driven gaming is thriving. This kind of collaboration is not just fun for players but also helps brands connect with wider audiences.

A senior executive at Hasbro highlighted their focus on bringing iconic brands into gaming. He pointed out that the success of the ARK x Power Rangers mod proves that licensing partnerships like this can introduce well-known franchises to new players in fresh ways.

The team behind the mod shared their creative vision, saying they wanted to mix nostalgia with modern gameplay. Their goal was to give players detailed cosmetics and dynamic playstyles, making classic franchises feel new again.
