Apple Might Have Just Leaked a Big New iCloud Feature Called ‘Invites’

Rumor Claims Apple Could Launch New iCloud Feature Codenamed 'Confetti' This Week

Apple seems to have let something slip about an upcoming feature before making it official. A recent update to its iCloud page includes a mention of ‘Invites’ as part of its iCloud+ subscription.

The problem? That feature doesn’t actually exist yet. The reference was first noticed by MacRumors.

Right now, Apple hasn’t given much detail about what Invites will actually do. The iCloud+ page says users will be able to ‘plan events with Apple Invites’, but there’s no word on whether this will be a new app or just an update to something like Calendar.

Last month, 9to5Mac found clues in an iOS 18.3 beta that suggested Apple was working on an event-planning app.

This new leak makes that look even more likely. iCloud+ starts at $0.99 per month, so if Invites ends up being a paid feature, only subscribers will get access.
