Nintendo Switch 2 Preview Events Kick Off With Select Invitations
Nintendo has started dispatching invitations for exclusive hands-on events featuring their much-awaited Switch 2 console. Selected fans, who applied earlier to participate, should keep an eye on their email inboxes and even check their spam folders for these golden tickets.
The buzz began as excited recipients shared screenshots of their invites on social media. Not everyone was lucky enough to receive one; Nintendo made sure to inform those who weren’t selected as well.
The global tour for Switch 2 will make its first stop in Paris on April 4th, then move on to London from April 11th to 13th.
The tour will also take the new console through major European cities including Berlin, Madrid, and Amsterdam.
Attendees at these events will have the opportunity to spend about four hours experiencing the Switch 2, likely including a test drive of the new Mario Kart game.
Simultaneously, a North American tour will take place, visiting cities like New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Toronto.
The tour is scheduled to wrap up on June 1st in Seoul, following stops in Tokyo and Melbourne. Additional dates in Hong Kong and Taipei are anticipated.
While Nintendo has not confirmed the official release date for the Switch 2, speculation suggests it might coincide with the tour’s conclusion.
