The BMW M4 GT3 Evo, the latest update to BMW’s customer race car, clinched its first victory in the intense 24 Hours of Dubai race this past weekend.

Racing under the banner of AlManar Racing by Team WRT, the No. 777 car featured an impressive lineup including BMW factory drivers Max Hesse, Dan Harper, Darren Leung, Al Faisal Al Zubair, and Ben Tuck, who together drove their team to success.

Another car, the No. 991 M4 GT3 Evo from Paradine Competition, also performed exceptionally, winning the GT3 AM class and finishing fifth in the overall race standings.

These early triumphs highlight the potential of BMW’s updated racer in the 2025 motorsports season.

Launched in 2022, the original M4 GT3 has already celebrated over 70 victories. With this strong performance record, BMW took the opportunity to enhance the vehicle based on feedback from teams who have competed with it.

The Evo version isn’t just about power; it’s designed for better handling, efficiency, and durability.

Among the updates are streamlined side mirrors, increased air outlets on the front wheel arches, a newly designed rear wing for better aerodynamics, upgraded anti-roll bars, and enlarged rear brakes. A tweak to the rear differential now allows for easier adjustments.

Underneath the hood, the M4 GT3 Evo retains the robust twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 engine that’s also used in the M3 and M4, as well as BMW’s X3 M and X4 M models, packing up to 590 horsepower.

This power is harnessed through an X-Trac 6-speed sequential gearbox ensuring that the car remains a top contender on the track.

Those interested in owning a piece of this engineering marvel will find the starting price tag set at €578,000, which is roughly $593,000.

The cost reflects the advanced technology and competitive edge built into every aspect of the M4 GT3 Evo, promising to be a valuable asset for racing teams aiming for the podium.
