Nintendo and LEGO are teaming up once again, but this time, they’re bringing something exciting for retro gaming fans. They’ve just revealed a LEGO version of the iconic Game Boy, which is going to be released on October 2025!

In a social media video (see below), the two companies teased the upcoming product, giving a glimpse of some buttons and hints about what’s to come. Beyond that, they’ve kept things under wraps, leaving us wanting more.

This isn’t the first time LEGO and Nintendo have worked together. Over the years, we’ve seen multiple collaborations, including LEGO sets based on some of Nintendo’s most famous franchises. They’ve even made hardware-inspired models, like the LEGO NES.

Given that, we can expect the Game Boy build to follow in a similar vein, but with its own set of surprises. The LEGO NES set has already shown us the kind of detail and creativity we can expect, so we have an idea of what the Game Boy might look like:

However, with this being a classic handheld, we’re hoping to see more special features that reflect its unique design. We know LEGO’s team is great at adding hidden touches to their sets, so it’s likely there will be fun details for collectors and players alike.

While we don’t know the full features yet, we can guess it will include some of the key elements that made the Game Boy such a favorite, like the iconic buttons, screen design, and portable nature. And just like previous LEGO Nintendo builds, it will probably be a fun challenge for those who enjoy a bit of nostalgia and a building project.

Though the reveal is still in its early stages, it’s clear this will be another great addition to LEGO’s lineup of Nintendo-inspired sets. Fans of both brands have a lot to look forward to, especially if they loved the previous releases. It’s also likely that this build will be a hit among collectors.
