A regular afternoon in Honolulu turned tragic when a training plane met a devastating end. On Tuesday, a Cessna 208 Caravan operated by Kamaka Air plummeted into a vacant state-owned building slated for demolition.

This distressing event, resulting in the deaths of two individuals on board, was recorded by a vehicle’s dashcam on a busy highway.

As the video shows, just as the car sped along, the plane was seen making a rapid descent towards the building.

Shortly after the impact, a thick cloud of black smoke billowed into the sky. Firefighting teams were prompt at the scene, managing to quell the flames swiftly.

During a subsequent press briefing, Hawaiian authorities confirmed the unfortunate demise of both passengers aboard the aircraft.

They also released an audio clip from the flight’s final moments, capturing the pilot’s desperate communication with air traffic control about losing control of the plane.

According to Hawaii News Now, the incident has sparked an investigation into the crash.
